My name is Yongama Sobambela. I am an experienced full stack web developer specializing in Back-end Development, my key programming language being PHP. I possess skills in the Front-end of things as well. I have worked in a number of different environments and team sizes. From leading ad/digital agencies to Development houses large and small. The most recent roles being short term contracts. I work well with other developers, designers and project managers. I can hit the ground running and deliver good work with minimal supervision. I have led a number of small teams building from the ground up and maintaining existing projects. I have seen a couple of projects from beginning to delivery. In my 7 years I have done everything from PSD to HTML/CSS conversion, working with CMS's e.g Wordpress, EE to developing entire projects e.g CRM's in PHP Frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony from database modeling till the end. I have a firm grasp of REST API integration as well as some AWS services. I have recently finished an Intro to Docker course on Udemy. I have a strong programming aptitude and I enjoy problem solving. I also love learning new skills and everything about technology. Coding for me bundles all my passions into one delightful and fruitful career. I pride myself with the ability to pick up any skill in record time and put it to practice. I am forever improving my skill set and as of this moment busy learning React.js.
