I am a professional electrical engineer (Pr Eng) with 16 years experience in consulting engineering. My experience covers various aspects of consulting engineering, such as: • Project feasibility studies, planning and costing, • Project design and specification, • Procurement documentation and procurement process, • Project construction monitoring, • Project co-ordination and • Project and contract management (electrical projects). The type of projects I have worked on include, but are not limited to, the following: • Electrical bulk infrastructure projects, • Electrical distribution and electrification for various types of developments, • Building services installations (including electronic services), • Stand-by and back-up power systems, • Street lighting and area lighting and • Eskom self-built projects.
