I have been working in accounting in various industries for over 30 years. Accounting is my passion. I completed my B.Com degree in 2018, and have done numerous short courses. I know that in the future some of what I currently do will be automated so I am pro-active in keeping my skills up to date. I am quite adept at using excel, it is a wonderful and powerful program that will still be in common use for at least the next fifty years, and I am constantly learning new ways that excel can make my life easier. I pay attention to detail, and I like to do things right, and do the right thing. I have a strong moral compass and I am ethical. My problem solving skills are well honed, and I will find a way to solve most problems, even if I am required to do extra research. I have a can do attitude, and I get along with people. I have patience and enjoy mentoring and growing people.
