I am experienced an executive manager with over fifteen years general management experience. I have extensive experience in general management, projects, operations, finance & budgeting, human resources, as well as media and communications with print, publishing and digital landscapes. I have worked for South Africa’s most prominent media groups like Entrepreneur Media, Media 24 and Times Media (Tiso) on both magazines and newspapers, focusing on operations and client services. I spent two years at a digital NPO working on digirati advertising and publishing awards, The Bookmarks. I also have several years experience in television and radio production for top advertising agencies and extensive experience with events. My career history has been diverse and challenging, from learning the reality of a deadline in television production in the early days, to the power of organisation when working on weekly magazines and daily newspapers. My people skills were honed with both legal and human resource experience, from recruiting, mentoring to discipline. My financial skills have also been developed through budgeting, monitoring and evaluation. The common thread throughout my career is that I can plan, implement and manage, with strong multi-tasking, clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and high attention to detail skills.
