I have 15+ years experience in a family start up where I have been exposed to various facets of running a business in South Africa including the implementation of systems and processes. From humble beginnings I worked in many of the departments in a very technical and complex industry which ultimately led to my service director role where I was responsible for a team of 15 people and overseeing a national maintenance portfolio. The knowledge and experience gained has been immeasurable and has provided me with a sound foundation to support my work in future. While my journey with the business provided me with a unique perspective and a certain resilience, I recently exited in pursuit of a change and to follow my passion of working with people. I was accepted to complete my Masters in Psychology in 2021 however due to personal circumstances I was unable to accept the offer. With my psychology background I believe I have a better understanding of people and how best to support both my colleagues and customers.
