I am a qualified journalist with 4 years experience working in South Africa's journalism industry. I started out as a news anchor and writer for Yfm before moving to Caxton community newspapers and eventually Digital Focus magazine as a tech journalist. I am comfortable with every medium of reporting and always look forward to working and engaging with different people. In 2017, I took a career break and moved to China to teach English as a foreign language. This was a huge leap of faith but an incredibly rewarding experience. Teaching young children sharpened my reading, writing and comprehension skills; it also encouraged me be quick on my feet and tailor my content and lessons to suit my students' needs. These are all skills I look forward to bringing and adding on to any team I join. and of course, an open mind
